I stayed at the Raddison from 8/22 thru 8/26. I thought the room was amazing, the sleep number bed was very comfortable. The staff did everything possible to make sure I had excellent stay. would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Should have known that something was wrong when all the other hotels were booked and this one had rooms available. It was a Saturday night and there were parties and receptions in the hotel. The clerk told me there would not be a problem with noise since she was putting me on the 7th Floor. There were party goers in the hall outside my room until 3am. Security came by several times and asked these people to go to their rooms but as soon as they left the noise started up again. Also the train goes by the hotel in the middle of the night. I have stayed at the Radisson in MSP and had a good experience but this had to rate as one of the worst. Upon check out they did not even bother to ask me how my stay was. I guess they know better than to ask because I would have told them that I would never stay here again.

This was probably a very nice hotel at one time, but now I would call it average. The rooms are very small. The sleep number beds are nice, but the best beds I have ever slept in are in Marriott Hotels. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the smell of cigarette smell in the lobby and elevator. Luckily that did not make its way up to our floor or room. Sounds did seem to travel easily from neighboring rooms to ours. I would stay there again if necessary, but would probably try to find a room at another hotel first. This was our first stay at a Radisson. I would give it 3 stars at best. It was a very busy weekend with a lot of events going on in town and we were grateful for any room at all. The check-in person also was not the friendliest person. I did like the on-line checkin though, that sped up the process at the desk.

I've stayed here several times, and the location is perfect, walking distance to the Civic Center, Downtown, and Restaurants/Bars. Two hospitals across the street. If location is important you don't want one of the hotels out on the interstate. If you're lucky you will get a sleep number bed, there's a free shuttle service, even a bowl of fruit at the front desk. They ask if you want to put a credit card on your room for incidentals, they don't demand it. Hotel is a little older, but clean, with friendly staff. Free parking.

I stayed her a month month ago, the location is bad due to proximity of train tracks and loud whistles blowing throughout the night. My room was tiny, no room move was offered, (they told me later there were 4 bad rooms in the hotel and I lost the lottery that night), there were no sheets on my bed and the desk staff did not seem to care, it was onlty the night porter who found a pair of sheets for me. I checked out early went to the Hampton Inn, infinately superior. Strong recommendation do not stay at this hotel. I have posted this previously and travelocity chose not to post it, shame on them!
